A broadside (11"x24") with the title poem by Diane Wakoski, the acclaimed & prolific poet who has long resided in Michigan. Reprinted (we believe in 1990, though no date is noted) from her 1978 collection, The Man Who Shook Hands. Part of a series entitled "Poems on the Underground" that was apparently displayed on London subways, published & sponsored by The Poetry Society, The British Library & other venerable institutions. A bold production & a very rare Wakoski collectible. In fine condition with bump-creases at lower & esp. upper right corners; much smaller crease at lower left corner & edge; a few faint creases on surface; faint blue ink residue slightly overlapping & just below "Underground" symbol most likely as issued. Currently mounted on stiff board, in protective shrink wrap. Will be shipped carefully rolled in a tube.
