Boston: Nathan Hale, Stimson and Clapp, Hilliard, Gray, Little and Wilkins, Richardson, Lord and Holbrook et al, 1832. Title page dated 1832, New Testament title page dated 1831. Medium sized Bible, about 9.25 inches tall and 2.5 inches thick, containing the Old and New Testaments, Apocrypha, tables of measures, descriptive index of the books of the Old and New Testaments. Full brown calf leather with black spine label, gilt ruled spine. Covers rubbed and spotted, non-structural vertical crease to spine, front hinge lightly internally cracked, rear hinge neatly internally reglued and secure, text block sound, pages have some speckling and age-toning but are readily legible, top of front free endpaper removed, gift notation in Latin on preliminary blank no other markings.. Hard Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
