FIRST EDITION 1967, small 4to, 250 x 195 mm, 10 x 7¾ inches, green cloth gilt, (31) pages. 4 charming (but not 'comic') full page illustrations printed red and black all featuring small children. These illustrations have been reproduced in facsimile from a manuscript in the Osborne Collection of Toronto. No inscriptions, contents clean and bright. A Fine clean copy in Fine DUSTWRAPPER, not price clipped. The earliest known Canadian children's book, written in Ontario in 1859.
