London, Warne, (1954).. Reprint (1954) dated from printer's code, small 4to, 215 x 165 mm, 8½ x 6½ inches, cream textured boards, red vignette and lettering, green illustrated endpapers, 60 pages. Coloured frontispiece and 15 very pretty coloured plates, plus many line drawings, all by Tarrant. All the illustrations are of flower fairies and small children. A few very minor marks to covers, very slight bump to top corners, no inscriptions, contents clean and bright. A very good plus copy in fair colour illustrated white DUSTWRAPPER, upper panel still attractive (dw: price clipped, slightly dusty looking, worn on spine with pieces missing, strengthened on reverse with white binder's tape, small chips to corners, several short closed edge tears, 2 on lower panel mended on the outside with browning from old clear tape now removed).
