Paris: Chez Ruault, Libraire, Rue De La Harpe. , 1774. FIRST EDITION. Text in French. This is a parchment bound book with a calf leather spine laided download upon the parchment. Both the parchment and the spine appear to be period (original and from the 1700s). Spine has compartmented gilt tooled designs. Two leather labels with title. Three worm holes to the spine which go into the underlying parchments. Slight splitting to the parchemt at the back board and spine. Blurred written name on back cover. Overall lightly soiled. All pages red. No endsheets or flyleafs (appears to have been bound that way. Title vinette of "Verdun". 560pp. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. . First Edition. Full Vellum. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hardcover.
