KATWALK won the Private Eye Writers of America Best First Private Eye Novel contest. It recieved mixed reviews at the time, Kirkus Book Reviews noting that it contained "the sort of schmaltz usually associated with romance novels." A ringing endorsement if there ever was one. 8.25'' x 5.5''. Original black boards with gilt lettering to spine. Original unclipped ($16.95) color pictorial dust jacket illustrated by John Nickle. 232 pages.Signed by Kijewski and dated November 1989 to title page. Jacket with mild edgewear. Binding spine ends a touch bumped. Bright.
