All three vol. have brown cloth covered boards, top edge dyed brown, gilt text on front panel and spine. Spines faded to tan. Spine ends worn. All square and tight. Green slipcase. Vol. I: The Bridal Wreath, 271 pp. plus: Notes, Designer's Note. translated from the Norwegian by Charles Archer and J.S. Scott. Vol. II: The Mistress of Husaby, 642 pp. plus Notes. Translated by Archer. Vol.III: The Cross,1043 pp.Translated by Archer. This vol. has some white spots on front panel. I suspect this set is a book club edition as all three volumes have publisher's colophon stamped on rear panel. Set weighs over 3 lb. and may incur extra shipping costs.
