With a new introduction by the author. --- In Toledano spine 8 / blue cloth / gilt titling on red spine & cover blocks / faded red topstain / grey Kent endpapers / jacket style h, verso advertises 334 titles in ML catalog. Likely published c.1948 (though 1940 date appears in book). ML #182.2. --- A tightly-bound, sound copy, but with a little age-toning to leaves, prior owners' penciled signatures to verso of front free endpaper, dampstained topstain and minor discoloration to cloth. Unclipped dust jacket with chips (especially to spine ends) and small tears to edges; with some rubbing, but remaining bright and protected in removable mylar wrapper.; 12mo 7" - 7-1/2" tall; vi, 354 pages .
