Reed, 1972. Light brown boards with gold gilt lettering on spine. Bottom left has a very small purple stain. Text is immaculate and is laden with black and white photographs. Previous owner's name, in ink, offfep. Dust jacket has a photograph of a red and white lichen on the bottom brwon background with white and black title and author at the top. Back of jacket has 5 colour photgraphs of various lichens. Very small tear at bottom of front fold and a bit of chipping at the top of the spine.
