London: Methuen, 1911 red cloth faded to boards and sunned to spine, tear 40mm up from bottom of spine, corners bumped. original printed endpapers with adverts for Methuen's Colonial Library. hinges cracked, half title has pen inscription. (vi) 436 + 31pp adverts at rear for Methuem & co August 1911. Rear hinge is loose, the page closed edges are dusty and foxed lightly, otherwise quite a tidy copy.
