SIZE: 7 by 9 inches. CONDITION: All 3 books have edge wear, the spine and corners heavily worn, soiling and rubbing to covers. Rose has the previous owner initials, address label and tape residue to the front paste down. The reverse of the frontis photo has a gift inscription. Mexican Donkey has a gift inscription to the front free end paper.; Madeline Brandeis wrote numerous books about the children of foreign countries. These 3 books are all illustrated with photographs, and explain in story form, the lives of children from other lands, how they lived, what they ate, how they worked and played, with all kinds of information about the countries they live in. .
