London, Routledge, 1943.. THIRD IMPRESSION 1943, (first published August 1942), 8vo, green cloth, vignette, 125 pages, many line illustrations by Irene Williamson, a few full page. Book leaning just slightly, 25 mm (1") faded at tail of spine, remaining spine faded very slightly, pencil name erased on front endpaper, otherwise a very good clean tight copy in good plus DUSTWRAPPER (dw: not price clipped, spine browned, pale green faded on upper panel but not the printing, 25 mm (1") missing at tail of spine with a small chip extending slightly onto upper panel, small chips at head of spine and corners). Mary Plain was a real little bear in the Berne bear-pits who was brought to England. She is not usually dressed. MORE IMAGES ATTACHED TO THIS LISTING, ALL ZOOMABLE, FURTHER IMAGES ON REQUEST.
