Allen and Unwin, 1939. Hardcover. Good. 1939. First Edition. 465 pages. This is an ex-Library book. Blue cloth covered boards with gilt. Black and white portrait frontispiece. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages remain bright and clean with minimal tanning and foxing. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate shelf wear with mild bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled. Some additional mild marks and staining.
