New York: Grosset & Dunlap, (1935). First edition, later printing. Though the copyright page states 1935, the actually date of publication for this copy is 1938 per Farah [1938B]. The twelfth book in the series and ninth by Benson. Very good or better with spine ends softened and small bookshop blindstamp on front endpaper. In about very good dust jacket with flattened creasing to head of spine and general nicks and tears. An attractive copy.
Synopsis
Nancy Drew determines if an ivory elephant charm really protects its wearer from harm when she investigates the involvement of a member of the Bengleton Wild-Animal Show in a mysterious scheme.
