Condition is VERY GOOD+, with some very slight bending to ends of spines, corners very slightly worn, some faint staining on both covers. Owner�s large bookplate in 1 and 2 (messy glue to one). The sub-title is "The Story of Walter Moberly and his share in the making of Vancouver," and the authors are stated to be Noel Robinson and "THE OLD MAN HIMSELF." Walter Moberly (1832–1915) was a civil engineer and surveyor who played a large role in the early exploration and development of British Columbia, including discovering Eagle Pass, now used by the CPR and the trans-Canada highway.
