About This Item
This is the 1973 reprint, scarce especially in this condition.
Inigo Jones' classic description of Stonehenge, a facsimile of the London 1655 edition, made from a copy at Glasgow University. Introduction by Graham Perry. Various drawings and fold out diagrams.
A lovely copy. See photos, all of which are of the actual copy for sale here. Pages are essentially Fine, clean and bright with no markings. Fold out charts are complete and in first rate condition. Yellow board cover is in an excellent state, tight and with just the most minor edge wear but generally sharp and firm. A very small light pink mark exists under the title (potentially removable?). Original clear (removable) wrapper is present, with some natural crinkling but no more than age related. Also present (see photos) a nice original card stating which edition this is, and an original order note from the Arts Council book shop in London to presumably the original purchaser, both notes mint condition. Book is HEAVY and may require extra postage - to be agreed on order.
