About This Item
New York: Thomas Y. Crowell Company, 1950. Hardcover. 8vo. Dark blue cloth with yellow spine lettering, pictorial dust jacket. 278pp. Fine/very good. Faint jacket edgewear only. Superb and tight first edition with outstanding jacket graphics of the second novel by this prolific novelist and playwright (1912-2012) -- with choice autograph addition: Tipped to front flyleaf is a 5" X 7¼" leaf bearing small color photograph and biographical statement about Denker, signed large and bold by him at top in blue ballpoint. Fine. Apparently a leaf from his 1977 novel "The Scofield Diagnosis." Uncommon title in nice bright jacket and with unique add-on.
