In the original unclipped dustwrapper.Cecil Beaton's entertaining faux-memoir on the Baroness von Bulop, a fictional aristocratic woman whose reminiscences form this novel.Illustrated with a frontispiece, twenty-two plates, and in-text illustrations.Beaton is a renowned fashion, portrait, and war photographer, well known and loved for his stage and costume design for films and theatre. He won Academy Awards for his costume design for the films 'Gigi' and 'My Fair Lady'.'File Copy' label taped to the recto to the front endpaper, with a 'Production Dept. File Copy' stamp.A revised edition of this work. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, generally smart, with marks to the boards and spine. Light bumping to the spine. Some light spots to other fore edge. Label, stamp, and tape marks to the recto to the front endpaper. Dustwrapper is very lightly edgeworn, with a label mark to the backstrip. Spine is a little sunned. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Offsetting to the half-title. Very Good
