And Novv Englished by Major VVright. FIRST ENGLISH EDITION 1652. Small 4to, approximately 180 x 140 mm, 7 x 5½ inches, slightly trimmed copy, the first leaf bears: "The mind of the frontispiece" facing the engraved frontispiece, pages: [16], 1-372, title page printed red and black, bound in full crushed morocco, binder's name just visible at top of first free endpaper (R. Wood), gilt lettering and decoration to spine, gilt dentelles, marbled endpapers, triple gilt rules to edges of covers, all edges gilt. Slight rubbing to binding, 4 pages have some light spotting, all legible, several small old ink corrections to text, a few corners a little dusty, but overall a very clean attractive copy.
