This is one of 25 unnumbered copies for presentation with the author's signature on the limitation page with the notation, in his handwriting, " an unnumbered copy". In addition the FEP has the following inscription, " To Barney Rose Hewett Affectionately Vardis Fisher Ririe May 30, 1935". SCARCE as such. Only such found as of February 2024. Exterior has sunned spine resulting in faded gilt , especially at the top.Otherwise clean with very slight rubbing to extremities. Inside is otherwise unmarked, crisp, and tight with moderate toning..
