Brown coloured cloth covered boards with blind stamp edge decoration to the front panel and gilt coloured embossed titles to the front panel and back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper with black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. This book was first published in 1949. The author spent nearly 40 years researching the churches in Norfolk area of England. This is a distillation of his research giving a small history of each church, and those he considered of greater interest he has placed on asterix beside the entry. Rubbing to the book corners and lower book edges. Some flecking to the lower edges of the book with browning to the top text block edge. A previous owner has made some underlining and notations throughout. A little creasing of the dustwrapper edges with rubbing of the panels. Some fading to the back strip and there is a white mark that transverses the rear panel. The verso of the dustwrapper is a darker brown, with the same illustration as for the front panel. Original price sticker to the lower right hand corner of the front fold over panel. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [4], V - XIV, 272, [2] pages,. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
