Norwich: Printed by John Crouse,, 1785. First edition, a fresh example in the original blue wrappers as issued, of this pamphlet on a controversy around Norwich of the reasonable assessment of liability for the poor rates between properties in the city and the surrounding hamlets, the author determining the hamlets overcharged. Only two copies are located by ESTC (British Library, Norwich Central Library). Octavo. Uncut in original blue wrappers. Housed in custom brown cloth folding case. With the bookplate of the Norfolk local historian R. C. Fiske to the case interior, whose North Walsham library numbered over 30,000 books and pamphlets. Very minor peripheral creasing and some spotting, else a fine copy. ESTC T96330.
