Dark pink boards with gilt spine titles. In near fine condition with fading to top edge of front board, outer edge dust soiling and ghost mark to endpapers; contents are clean without marks, tears or folds. Unclipped jacket has a rub lower edge front panel and inside flap toning.
Lady Ottoline Morrell was an English aristocrat and society hostess. Her patronage was influential in artistic and intellectual circles, where she befriended writers and artists including Aldous Huxley, Siegfried Sassoon, T. S Elliot, Dora Carrington and Gilbert Spencer. She was a favourite and often satirised associate of the Bloomsbury group
