About This Item
London: University of London Press, 1947. Quite a lot of creasing and tears to edges of unclipped dustwrapper, some bumping to spine ends and corners of green boards, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this slim hard-cover book. The story deals with a man and his nephew making a canoe trip along an English river. The author was "Nomad the Naturalist" on the BBC radio "Childrens Hour" in the 1940s and 50s. 208pp, b&w drawings throughout.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Fair. Illus. by Tunnicliffe, Charles. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
