EARLY ISSUE circa 1892, small 4to, 225 x 175 mm, 8¾ x 7 inches, grey cloth with blue and black illustration to upper cover, red titled on upper cover with first letter gilt, black on spine, floral endpapers, 96 pages. Pretty colour and black and white illustrations throughout by W. J. Morgan. Head and tail of spine and corners very slightly rubbed, silver mark on spine obscuring 'WITH', contents very nice, no inscriptions. A very good plus copy. Copies exist with more colour on the upper cover, and "The Man" in gilt, presumably first issues. MORE IMAGES ATTACHED TO THIS LISTING, ALL ZOOMABLE, FURTHER IMAGES ON REQUEST. POSTAGE AT COST.
