A beautifully illustrated first edition of Cherry Kearton's wild life photography from around the world. First edition thus. A work with the same title was published in 1913, this volume contains rewritten material and new records of more recent experiences, along with seventy-three new photographs. Illustrated with eighty-four photographs. Collated complete. A collection of wild life photographs from Borneo and East Africa, through Sough Africa, India, Canada, and the American Rockies. Written and illustrated by Cherry Kearton, a British naturalist and one of the earliest wild life photographers. In the original green cloth binding. Externally, sound with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Front joint starting but reasonably firm. Fading to the spine. Loss to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the light scattered spotting. Good Only

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
