About This Item

G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1961. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine in Very Good DJ. First printing, near fine cloth hardcover shows a bit of bumping to bottom corners and some other mild trace wear, else tight and clean, in a very good dust jacket (price at flap) that shows light soil, rubbing at spine tail, mild exposure toning along spine and some edge wear that includes bit of small open chipping mainly at spine head. 480 pages with illustrations, index and endpaper maps. Still an attractive copy of this "..story of the people who once lived in the basin of the Yellowstone river.
