Description: A few b&w and several color illustrations by John R Neill. This is Volume Five from the publisher's series, The Children's Own Books. Includes the title story plus another short tale: J Cole. The printed date is 1908. The list of Oz titles in a one page ad at the end concludes with The Long Kings of Oz which was published in 1925; this is probably close to the printing date for this copy.
