Brown half leather decorated and lettered in gold. Beautifully illustrated with an extensive series of double spread plates and numerous wood engravings. Leather is very worn, front board is almost completely detached, stain affecting the lower edge of the first volume, smaller stain partially affecting the fore edge of volume two.
