Letterpress title printed in red and black. Contemporary vellum, somewhat rubbed but sound. Bookplate of Michel Chasles, a member of the Académie des sciences and presumably the noted mathematician (1793-1880). Pétau (1583-1652) was a Jesuit theologian. The Rationarium Temporum is an abridgement of his major work on chronology. Book
