About This Item

Edinboro, PA: Edinboro State College, 1977. First Edition. Very good +.. Press release announcing a solo show by experimental filmmaker Jud Yalkut, with lengthy explanations of each piece (most likely written by Yalkut himself). Yalkut was an influential film and video artist known for his collaborations with Nam June Paik in the '60s and '70s. His early works using video are commonly considered some of the earliest examples of video art. An interesting press release offering in-depth artist's statements on several videos, "sonospaces," "movie machines," and collages. 14" by 8.5". Two sheets stapled once at corner. Very good plus with some light wear at upper edge; both folded together 3" from bottom. Overall bright and sharp.
