First printing thus, very good blue cloth hardcover shows mild rubbing to cover edges, touch of lean to spine, bookplate at front pastedown and some other light trace wear, in very good - dust jacket that shows touch of exposure darkening along spine, light bit of rubbing and soil, and edgewear that includes closed tears and shallow open chips that include a 1/4 inch deep across sp[ine head. 434 pages with intro by angus Wilson and illustrations by Philip Gough. Still a solid copy in jacket of this installment in the Illustrated Novel Library series.
