Neill, in which self-driving private cars come to merrily dominate the once-idyllic landscape. 9'' x 6.5''. Original red cloth with bright pictorial paste-on. In original price-clipped pictorial dust jacket with $1.75 price stamped on front flap. Illustrated by Neill in black and white. "Scala-wagons" hyphenated on cloth spine. "Scallywagons" [sic] on rear jacket flap. 309, [1] pages. Ink gift inscription to book owner leaf, dated 1944. Slight spine lean. Jacket with some chipping to bottom edge and spine ends, some tape repairs to verso, spine sunned.
