FIRST EDITION 1903, small 8vo, 128 x 80 mm, 5 x 3 inches, light green cloth striped and lettered dark green, 95 pages including title page, no half-title or list of Dumpies, neither called for in this volume. Frontispiece and 23 delightful colour plates. 3 little goblins sent out into the wide world by their father on a quest to find a red feather stolen from him long ago by the fairies. They have frightening experiences (they are nearly fried on toast for a Giant's breakfast and they kill a dragon). No inscriptions, cloth lightly marked, spine slightly darkened, stitching rather slack, inner joints cracked, binding holding, 2 tiny grazed spots on facing pages 58/59 due to adhesion (see image).
