Son histoire est encore obscure et, malgré les travaux de Ricord et les leçons de Fournier, bien des points sont restés dans l'ombre. Nous tentons d'en éclaircir quelques uns." Paul Reclus (Orthez, 1847-1914) est surtout connu pour avoir vulgarisé l'usage de la cocaïne comme anesthésique local.
