On first front end paper in neat black ink: "For Rudy, With all good wishes, Jesse Stuart. Feb. 20th 1970." DJ glossy beneath mylar with naive color-illustration of farmland home, river, bridge and roads on front and spine, a photo portrait of Stuart at top back. DJ has very tiny nick at top front edge, very slight surface wear to spine top left, very tiny tear at top back spine indentation, a crease at top back tip. Near Very Good DJ/Very Fine book.
