New York: Thomas Y. Crowell and Co., 1890. Limited ed. Hardcover. Very Good. xvii + 369 pages. 6 1/2 x 9 in. Numerous small illustrations and illustration on frontis with tissue. Black quarter calf cloth binding with green cloth boards, gilt lettering on spine, top edge of text block gilt. Condition of the book is VERY GOOD: light wear to covers and spine, light soiling to covers and spine, corners and spine ends more worn, a two in. section of cloth on the edge of the spine leather is lifted, edges of text block yellowed, light foxing to end papers and a few pages front and rear, pages clean, binding tight, book plate of David B. Ogden on inside of front cover- this edition is number 39 of 250 as stated.
