Who were arraigned and condemned at the late sessions, holden at Chelmesford before the Right Honorable ROBERT, Earle of Warwicke, and severall of his Majesties justices of peace, the 29 of July, 1645. Wherein the severall murthers, and devillish Witchcrafts, committed on the bodies of men, women, and children, and divers cattell, are fully discovered. Published by authoritie. FIRST EDITION 1645. Small slim 4to, approximately180 x 135 mm, 7¼ x 5¼ inches, pages: [8], 1-36, the preface is signed: H.F. Modern calf spine, gilt lettered label to spine, marbled boards. Boards rubbed with shelf wear to edges, title page and last page, lightly dusty, slight shaving to outer margins, affecting the first letters of the printed marginal notes in the Preface, pale age-browning and stains to margins, Chirk Castle noted in ink on front free end-paper; bookplate of David Laing Philips, old catalogue descriptions pasted to first pastdown with notes in pencil, neat ink notes to verso of free endpaper, a good copy. This book was once in the collection of the Artist Robert Lenkiewicz.
