First published by Ralph Gibson at Lustrum Press in 1971 in wrappers.This is the first Hardcover Edition published by Larry Clark with help from Ralph Gibson and Danny Seymour and printed at Rapoport Printing, no date but 1979. Fine in a Very Good Plus dust jacket, 1" scrape along spine fore edge, small chips at head of spine and corners, a few small closed edge tears. Larry Clark later became an important film director and producer, best known for his controversial teen film "Kids" (1995)."Tulsa" is credited with inspiring several filmmakers and their films, including Martin Scorsese's "Taxi Driver" (1976), and Francis Ford Coppola's "Rumble Fish" (1983). .
