About This Item

Four volume complete set, of which two are elephant folio volumes depicting 296 facsimile colored plates and the additional two volumes are 8vo English text descriptions. Half dark blue morocco over blue cloth with six raised bands each. Gilt particulars to spines; all edges gilt. The additional smaller volumes have bright red cloth with gilt titles to spines. Chip to hinge of volume one. Dewey decimal blindstamped to foot of spines of folios. Overall, nice clean copies without previous owners' names or other markings. A large and quite heavy set.
Folios measure 16 x 22 in, while the 8vo are 6.75 x 10.25 in.
