Roma: Tipografia Della Societa Editrice 1829. (Volume 8 is dated 1838.) First Edition. The full-page illustrations include architectural plans and views, plus engravings of all the artwork on the walls and ceilings. Some slight wear to bindings, interiors clean and bright. Library bookplate on the front blank, ink library stamp on the half-title in all 8 volumes; ink library stamp on back of plates not affecting any plate, the front of the plates unmarked. A stunning set. Complete as issued.
