About This Item
Cambridge, UK: Cambridge University Press, 1966. Oversized hardcover with price clipped dust jacket, vii + 254 pages including 102 black-and-white illustrations; elegant book in forest green with very bright and clear gilt spine lettering flawed only by a rectangular (coffee ring?) stain, but very gently used, tight in binding, just a hint of shelf wear, interior very clean and unmarked; DJ rubbed and chipped, one short tear, now in new mylar protector. [this copy priced low, priced to go to a good home as bookseller is nearing retirement, but extra S & H at cost will be requested] See also our listings for Our Mothers: A Cavalcade In Pictures, Quotation and Description of Late Victorian Women 1870-1900, or for something completely different, Fraser Harrison's The Dark Angel: Aspects of Victorian Sexuality.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good ++/Good.
