Burgundy blind stamped/ruled cloth with gilt lettering/rules to the spine.Second and Revised Edition, so stated. From the library of noted Chaucer scholar, E. Talbot Donaldson, with his neat signature on top of both front paste downs. These copies are VG. Exteriors are rich. Gilt is bright. Modest/moderate wear to both spine ends on both volumes. Edges and tips are sharp.272pp. and 273-621 pp. Fold out color frontispiece in Vol. I. Interiors are unmarked, firmly bound with brown toned text/page edges. .
