New York: MacMillan & Co., 1938. Book. Near Fine. Cloth. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Black blind stamped cloth with gilt lettering/ rules to the spine. This copy is NEAR FINE in a VG, unclipped ($5.00)DJ. Exterior is rich. Gilt is bright. Only hints of wear around the edges. Inside has " With the Compliments of the Author" business card attached to the FEP. Otherwise unmarked ( save for a very few light scattered pencil marks), crisp, and tight.Modest toning throughout. DJ has noticeably sunned spine ( brown) , modest/moderate edge chipping and modest toning to edges. SCARCE in DJ. No other such found on Abe as of April 2023.First Edition, First Printing, set up and printed. Published July 1938. .
