New York: Taplinger Publishing Co, 1960. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. FIRST USA EDITION. The book is in nice condition with clean covers, bright gilt, minor rubbing tips of corners, some foxing on the first few pages but most pages have no foxing, no previous owner marks or writing, solid binidng, VG. The dust jacket has loss at the top of spine about 1cm deep but is hard to see since the backing of the jacket protector has been colored to match the loss area, generally presentable condition. The book has 203 pages and 24 b/w photos. Details of a family's 1950 ski holiday in Switzerland around Grindelwald, Wengen, and Scheidegg. Very detailed description of the ski scene then. PHOTOS ARE OF ACTUAL ITEM BEING OFFERED.
