Photographic essay of Yosemite preceded by a Preface by Ansel Adams (1908 - 1984 ) penned January of 1979, and an Introduction by Paul Brooks. The images in this book, taken over a span of time, are not in chronological order, nor are they collations of specific areas. A devoted conservationist, Adams says "I am glad that the artist can move through the wilderness taking noting away from its inexhaustible spirit and bring his vision-modulated fragments to all who come and see." The volume is a visionary splendor. Fine copy.
