Near fine in light red cloth covered boards with copper colored text stamping on spine with light wear and rubbing to the cloth at the head and heel of the spine. In a good, unclipped dust jacket with up to 1/2" deep chipping at the ends of the spine area, the fold from the spine area to the rear panel is worn through in most areas and there are chips over the fore edges of the folds to the panels over the tips of the boards. 308 pages with an index. "The lusty story of Butte, Montana the richest Hill on the Earth" Compiled by workers of the Writers' Program of the Work Projects Administration in the State of Montana. Illustrated with an engraved frontispiece and plates from black and white photographs.
