Thornton Gallery, Snape, Bedale, North Yorkshire, 1976. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good Condition/Near Fine. Harry Turnbull was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and educated at Newcastle Royal Grammar School and Ernrnanuel College, Cambridge. For many years he was engaged upon the preparation of reference material on a variety of subjects. Every December they hold an exhibition of Yorkshire artists, and the idea of preparing the present book arose from the paucity of published information about so many of the artists featured in the exhibitions.
