England: Sampson Low, 1966. Book. Illus. by Rudy Nappi. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1st UK edition.Orange Gretta Endpapers. Gives a US copyright date of 1955 (Wrong - it came out in 1965) and a 1966 UK publishing date. Book is in very good condition with spine ends faded and bumped. Neat book plate to front free endpaper (Dated 1968) Book lists to Skull Mountain. Illustrated endpapers. Jacket is quite creased with corner wear and tiny losses to corners. Spine ends have more significant loss with approx 1.5 cm missing to the head and near 1cm to the heel and ragged tears coming off both ends. Small edge tears to the jacket edges. Jacket is now in a new protective sleeve and rated as a low end good. US 1ST edition came without a jacket. Very scarce early edition in this key collectible series.
