The ORIGINAL DRAWINGS made by John Tavenor-Perry for use in his Article titled "Episcopal Chairs" appearing at pages 256-261 in the September 1908 issue of the magazine Christian Art. This separate book contains all 11 Original Illustrations by Tavenor-Perry used in the Article. Figure VIII in the Article appears as Figure X and also as Figure VIII in the book, Figure IX in the Article appears as Figure VII in the book, Figure X in the Article appears as Figure XI in the Book, and Figure XI in the Article appears as Figure IX in the book. The illustrations are drawn on boards (some of which may contain notes on how to size the various drawings of publication) and are housed together in paper covered boards. The spine and labels thereto show wear and the boards show some soiling/staining as shown in the images provided with this listing, and the Figures are holding decently well in the book. A RARE group of eleven (11) ORIGINAL ILLUSTRATIONS by the renowned architect and writer on architectural history J. TAVENOR-PERRY published in an Article written by him.
